Robin and I first met about 8 years ago. One night we went to a nice restaurant and ordered wine. At the time neither of us were wine drinkers so the waitress suggested a Pinot Noir. She let us taste the Estancia brand and w bought a bottle with dinner. Since then, we have graduated to deeper wines with more flavor and less sugar. Not only was the Estancia 1997 Pinot Noir the wine that got us into drinking wine, it was our first wine as a couple. Now I am about to propose to her. I was thinkning we would go horseback riding (something she has always wanted to do)on a friend's land that happens to have the 2nd largest waterfall in North Carolina. I will have him ride ahead and place the ring behind the waterfall and I as I ask her to marry me we'll step throught the waterfall and on a ledge will sit the ring AND.......... The first bottle of wine we tried together with glasses and a corkscrew. However, I am finding it particularly difficult to find the bottle.
