  Temp Sensor Problem with Vinotemp

I've been having recurring problems with a malfunctioning temperature sensor in my Vinotemp VT-200. Vinotemp wants the whole until returned for service (all 300 pounds of it. Can you imagine the shipping costs?) The place I bought it wanted $300 to pick it up! Does anyone know anything about repairing temperature sensors?

I have had the same problem. While away the temperature dropped to 25 degrees and froze ten bottles. Vinotemp sent a Sears repair to replace the control panel. Two weeks later the tempature dropped to 25 degrees again and froze 10 bottles. They are willing to send the repair out again, but I am not likely to use it and they won't take it back. It was purchased through Home Depot Direct and their definition of customer service doesn't include helping the customer.
