Amazing Discovery- Pinebrook 1998 Merlot

I was at a holiday party and tasted this delcious wine...then finished the bottle myself. However, I can't find anyone in LA that stocks it, or has even heard of it. It's from Napa, Oakville. Has anyone out there tried it, or know where to get it? If you like merlot, you've got to try this wonderful, inexpensive wine.

I would hate to burst your bubble, but I just picked up several bottles at Big Lots, which is a chain store for closeouts.
I bought the 1998 Pinebrook Merlot for $1.99 a bottle.

I found this wine at Albertsons in Vancouver, WA for
$3.50 and I was quite impressed.
Of course, $1.99 is far better yet.
As far as I know, the Big Lots near me don't sell wines,
but the ones in California sometimes do. Where was this find?

I also found some at Albertsons for $3.5o For $3.50 it's certainly drinkable but nothing to write home about. Just a cut under good.(which is saying a lot for any wine at $3.50)

I just bought one to try at my local Albertsons.(Sacramento)
1.99 per, worth the risk. A little rough for my Merlot tastes, I prefer the Charles Shaw at Trader Joes for the same price.
