Does anyone know if it possible to download one's cellar list so as to create a back up-copy, do additional sorts, etc?

If it makes you feel any better. Everyone's database is backed up two ways: 1) locally to a different hard drive and 2) non-locally to my home machine.

I've been planning an Excel spreadsheet or a more basic, comma delimited format, database export/download feature.

If you really want it, I can build it...

hi - i would like to duplicate most of this sites functionality so i can put my own "creative" around it. this would just be for my friends and family.

is there any chance i could get a copy of the database / table structure?

thanks.

Would the export/download function also allow for importing? I'm comfortable with your backup regimen. What I would be looking for was a way to download my list, manipulate it, and then load it back up. The main reason to do this would be so I could quickly make changes to multiple listings (for example, if I move a mixed case to a new location). It's the one thing that is really cumbersome currently.

Uploading from Excel file would be a bit trickier than generating and downloading one.

It might be easier for me to just implement a move feature. I'll look into this.

I would really like to have a download feature, if at all possible: this is a lot of work and I'd hate to lose it. Thanks

I realize I'm a new user and see this posting is quite old, and I don't see this feature. Lack of a good wine database I created my on my own on MSAccess, however I would consider use this one exclusively if I knew it was going to be around forever. But as things go, I know that's not possible. So a download feature would really help. Comma delimited or Excel would work nicely.

I've found you can effectively download by secting the entire table of your cellar in sorted column view, copy it (control c) and then pasting it into a blank excel spreadsheet.
