I've been working hard to get this message board integrated into BottleCount. My aim is to have a place for everyone to share their thoughts about wine.

I created this site to track my own wine collection. At some point BottleCount took on a life of its own and the number of features has started to grow. If there is some feature that you'd like to see let me know!

My personal wine tastes favor reds big time. California Cabernets, California Zinfandels, French Rhones, and recently Syrahs. I love Pinot, but haven't had much luck locating bottles that I like and don't cost a fortune.

The main credit for the message board goes to Lloyd Tabb, who created "Harvey" (this message board software) as a means for kids to interact with their classmates, teachers, and parents. If This interests you, check out the Harvey link (the rabbit) on the right.

Try Geerlings & Wade(www.geerwade.com).They have a Pinot Noir from Oregon, only 13.99 rated at91 by Wine Enthusiast. I have found many of their wines to be very good and priced well. The Oregon Pinot's are very good.

I checked out http://www.geerwade.com/

Is it the Willamette Valley Vineyards Pinot Noir that you are refering to? Have you tried it yourself?

I do have a bottle, I have not tried yet, however, several friends highly recommend. The Oregon wines are very good & I am lying it downfor a while for that special occasion.

I will letyou know when I do open it.

Bryn,

Did you try the $10 Kalinda buy from K&L?
I've had a lot of pinots for a lot more
that I liked a lot less...

Is there some way to total the value of your cellar, with the price field? Or any other report that you have?

Thanks

Doug

Doug,

That's a really good idea. Ask and ye shall receive. :-) Try this link to view your cellar:

http://www.bottlecount.com/cgi-bin/list.cgi?columns=dwvcnu

The new addition is "c" for cost (price) in the columns list. If the price column is present in the list at the bottom will be the sum of your cellar value.
