This is and interesting and confusing bottle of port. Almost all port comes from Portugal from the Alto Douro region. The business is controlled by less than 40 "lodges" who blend the wine with Brandy to get the final alcohol content. Your bottle should have the name of one of these lodges on it somewhere.
Alfonso XII was the king of Spain (November 28, 1857�November 25, 1885) I suspect your bottle has a cork at the end of the wooden stopper, The words around the picture most likely mean through the grace of God. (Por la gracia de Dios)
If the bottle truly dates to the late 1880s, it could be worth a lot. I suggest you contact dealers in very old wines
