The wine you are looking for can be
found at the Sam's in Hickory, N.C.
Have looked from Fla. to New York with
no luck but have a friend in Hickory
that has purchased two cases for me
and delivering to Fl. Good Luck

Sam's in tallahassee florida carries the johann Falkenburg. They have several cases left in the store. I have been looking all year as well and found out that it only comes around this time of year. I bought 3 cases for the rest of the year.

Hi Sally! I purchased 1 bottle at our Sam's club in Sheffield, Ohio, but they don't carry it anymore either... we think it is the best!

Hello, all.
Do not fear for the Johann Falkenburg Reisling happens to be seasonal. It will reappear on the Sam's Club shelves nearing the Christmas Season. It's sad we have to wait that long but, when it comes back STOCK UP!!

EAT, DRINK, BE MERRY!!!

Why is this wonderful wine only available through Sam's Clubs? Can it be bought anywhere in the US? This particular Reisling tastes is like the Reislings we were able to drink on a recent trip to Germany and thought we would never find a comparable tasting wine that we could by in the US. Keep it on the shelves all year round, not just through the holiday season!

The big blue bottle of reisling is coming back to Sams Oct.1. In Davenport, IA. I'm stocking up!

What do the Johann Falkenburg Rieslings usually cost?

paulette 11/09/2005 at 16:31 PST [Reply]

It cost around here $8.88 a bottle. It seems like all the Sams club around has it back but not ours. They have a new one, not as good and smaller bottle. Lots of luck.

Just bought a case of the Johann Falkenberg Riesling in the tall blue bottle at the Sam's in Eagan, Minnesota. It is seasonal. Would like to buy a couple more cases, but wonder, how long will it keep?

Hi everyone. Always looking for a new wine. Just tried the Riesling made by Johann Falkenburg-- Sams club Dayton/Ohio area has cases. Looks like a new favorite. Judging by your comments I better stock up!!!!! Thanks for the tips..

I have been searching for this wine for my mother. The wine stores do not have any information on their computers. After reading everyone's information, I called Sam's Club in Richmond, VA. All the info appears correct. The wine must be seasonal and it is now available. Sam's Club product number is 222-273. If you call with that number, they will check their inventory for you.

I just bought the tall blue bottle at Sam's Club in Tallahassee, FL. I bought it because I liked the bottle and my wife prefers a sweet wine. Is this Riesling sweet???

I am new to this site but have to agree with everyone about this wine. I fell in love with it from the very first sip. I received it as a gift and am desperately trying to find more. Is it absolutely true that I have to wait again until the holidays?

We have it all year so far at the Sam's club here in Phoenix AZ. But I've nto seen it anywhere else.

I just love it! In fact ia'm drinking a glass right now.

I'm very anxious to get a case of these wines--at the very least 5 bottles!! They're needed for use as both centerpieces & beverage for a blue-themed wedding. There are 3 Sam's in Phoenix: Is it the one on Indian School Rd., W. McDowell or Holmes Blvd.??? Please HELP!!

Sam's will have this available within the next two weeks in most clubs, I believe that it will still be at the $8 price. If there is a time when you need something and it is not in the club, they can special order it for you depending on availability!Just ask the club manager.

Hello all, I just bought a bottle of Johann Falkenburg, the tall blue bottle, at the Waco, TX Sam's Club, April 3, 2006. It was $8.88; they have a large display 10 or more cases. I did not ask about how many cases they might have in stock. Seems like I might just need to go back and get a case or two.

I love the wine, and really love the tall (1.5 liter) bottle, which I have been unable to find anywhere at bottle supply companies. I am willing to pay shipping and maybe a small amount on top of that for the EMPTY bottles. Email if you'd be willing to help me after you have enjoyed the wine.

I found it at Fort Stewart Army Base, Fort Stewart, GA; Fort Gordon Army Base, Fort Gordon, GA and Sam's Club in Augusta, GA. I bought a case (6)at Sam's Club at $8.88 a bottle. Now I wish I had gotten 3 cases. I live 70 plus miles from each place that I get it. It is very good just lightly chilled. This is the best wine I have ever tasted. I can not wait to go get another case or two if it is still on sale. I have two bottle left and I too collect the bottle. Good Luck finding it out there. I tried to order it via the internet, but was not able to find it.
Gloria

The Falkenburg is an exclusive item at Sam's. It can be found 2 times a year...in October and in March.
