  Coffee Beans?

Hi all, I'm just wondering if any of you have information regarding coffee beans and its effect on the olfactory senses when tasting wine. I know that many perfume shops keep some coffee beans on hand for customers to smell between perfumes. Its a way of clearing the "olfactory palate" Has anybody tried it with wine tasting? Perhaps the smell of coffee is too overwhelming for the aromas in wine. Thoughts?
