| Wine Notes: | ow yields and a long cool autumn period combined to produce a vintage in which our 2006 Te Tera Sauvignon Blanc shows intense varietal character and flavour. The extended ripening period allowed the grapes to retain their natural acidity whilst concentrating flavours enabling us to make a wine we believe exhibits some of the best elements of New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc. This wine displays a melding of herbaceous and tropical characters with gooseberry, passionfruit, tropical lychee and citrus notes on the nose with a palate that dispalys complexity of fruit, length and intensity. |
