| Wine Notes: | The wine could be called the Spanish version of the Bordeaux blend with Cabernet Sauvignon taking the lead, followed by Merlot and finishing with Tempranillo. The wines are matured for 18 months in American oak prior to bottling. Tasting note: Deep ruby colour with aromas of raspberry, strawberry, earth and oak. Dry, traditional-styled Spanish blended wine. The fruit is showing nicely and the tannins are beginning to resolve themselves. Medium full-bodied with a lingering finish. (Vintages panel, Jan. 2003).
