| Wine Notes: | The medium to dark ruby-colored 1999 Pernand-Vergelesses Croix De Pierre (domaine) has a beguiling blackberry, spice, and raspberry-scented nose. This light-bodied, delineated, wine is intricate and delicate. It has lace-like cherry and raspberry flavors in its delightful if somewhat restrained personality. Drink it over the next 3-4 years. WS Nice-tasting, but in a light style. Medium body, with plenty of ripe, sweet fruit and supple tannins. Delivers some crushed berries, mineral and wet earth. Better than previously reviewed.
