Wine Notes:  Tasting note: Medium deep ruby colour with aromas of blueberry pie, plum and cedar. Dry, balanced with very good fruit flavours and cedar replays. Medium full-bodied with a long cedar/fruit finish. (David Churchill, Vintages, July 2003). Food match: barbecued spareribs. (Source: Vintages, September 2003). Speaking of France's Rhone Valley, don't miss two other reds in the release, Mas des Bressades Cuvée Excellence 2001 ($17, No. 708750), full-bodied, concentrated and firm, with flavours of plum and cedar and a luscious texture. (Source: Beppi Crosariol, Globe and Mail, September 6, 2003).
