| Wine Notes: | Bright and juicy, a tangy Riesling with lively green apple, citrus and guava aromas and flavors, echoing nicely on the dry finish. Drink now through 2005. 800 cases imported. Jancis Robinson MW says, I suspect that Riesling will worm its way into the affections of a new generation of wine drinkers, not in German but in Australian form; dry and powerful rather than featherlight and fruity. Yalumba Y Series is one of my favourite Australian Rieslings. Tasting note: Light to medium yellow-green; a full aromatic bouquet with a mix of lime and tropical fruit; the palate is likewise driven by generous, ripe fruit; ready to roll right now. Score - 89.
