Ok, I finally broke down and went and spent $10 on eBay to by myself a CueCat so I could bulk enter my cellar of about 350 bottles. I plugged it into two separate PC's, one running Vista, the other XP. In both cases the O/S reported finding new hardware and installed drivers and advised the installation was successful. I have tried to use the CueCat with both PC's and the Bottlecount web site to no effect. The CueCat lights up as I pass it over the barcode, but no input shows up in the CueCat field. What am I doing wrong?
