I just got the devastating news that I suffer from major Acid Reflux and my gastroenterologist is telling me I shouldn't be drinking wine because of the acidity. I love wine and don't want to give it up. Can anyone recommend some low acid wines? Please help!! Thanks!

I don't know any low acid wines, but since I suffer from Acid Reflux, too, I thought I'd share my experience. My doctor put me on Prevacid and that's completely got it under control. I haven't noticed any discomfort drinking wine. The only thing my doctor told me is to be moderate with coffee. Hopefully your experience will be the same.

I have the same problem.. acid reflux, and i too am looking for wines with low acidity...taking pills like Prevacid can help, however I would rather not take pills if I can help it!
