| Wine Notes: | Maturing, yet still fresh, this traditional-style red shows dried cherry, sweet vanilla and tobacco notes with a silky texture, with enough grip for food. Drink now through 2009. 60,000 cases made. (Wine Spectator, December 14, 2004). Depending on vintage, Campillo ages their Reserva for 24 to 36 months in French oak (for one year) and American oak (for up to two years). Tasting Note: Deep ruby/garnet colour with aromas of strawberry, oak and barnyard. Dry, smooth, velvety and very approachable. Ready to drink, but it will easily hold for 2-3 years.
