| Wine Notes: | On opening, this is a classic California cab, if on the lighter side. There’s juicy berries, spiciness, and an immediate backbone of toasty oak. Decanting for an hour produced surprise and delight as the wine “came together” for us. This is the first Cab I’ve tasted where citrus played a role. The wine opened up splendidly to reveal a festive medley of candied orange peel, chocolate and holiday spices. |
