| Wine Notes: | Spinelli 'Terra d'Aligi' Montepulciano d'Abruzzo is made entirely from the Montepulciano grape. Centuries ago, wool traders from Tuscany are believed to have brought Sangiovese vines to Abruzzi. According to this legend, Montepulciano is really Sangiovese that has adapted to the local climate and growing conditions of the region of Abruzzi. 'Terra d'Aligi' is one of our most successful Montepulciano d'Abruzzos we have ever released. With its long, elegant bottle and, of course, superior contents within, it has always been a crowd-pleaser. Food match: hamburgers, roasted vegetables, pasta with meat sauce, grilled steak.
