| Wine Notes: | As with the previous vintages this is crafted in a full and slightly sweet style. This wine has the smooth, tropical flavours of Californian Sauvignon. Very pretty, but lacks Sauvignon zest. The sweetness could work well with mildly spicy seafood or white meat dishes. (Source: Bill Munnelly, Best Bottles, Early Summer 2003). It is smooth on the palate, exhibiting flavours of gooseberry and citrus fruit with an herbal note on the finish. A refreshing and easy drinking wine that is exceptional with food or as an aperitif. This wine pairs very well with a number of dishes but makes an excellent match with herb chicken or cream pasta dishes. (Source: Producer). Sweet aromas of honey, peach and pineapple stand-out. On the palate, there's a bounty of sweet fruit flavours that carry through the lingering finish. Don't let the sugary descriptors fool you, this is a dry wine best enjoyed with food.
