Wine Notes: | One of the best Cabernet Francs of the vintage, but needs time to develop. This is reserved and very firm. Very well extracted however with ripe almost dried blackberry fruit. Big, youthful, chewy tannin. Excellent Length. (Source: David Lawrason, Wine Access). Medium deep ruby colour with aromas of raspberry, leather, vanilla, sweet herbs and mineral. Dry with ripe fruit with good silky tannins. Medium full-bodied with a medium long fruity and tannin finish. Food match: roast beef with root vegetables, ratatouille. (Source: Vintages, April 2003) |
