| Wine Notes: | A touch of litchi, a hint of peach. Yet, the palate is fully textured with flowers and litchi and peach, all lingering over honeyed lemon drops and gunpowder tea. If you like fish or seafood with forward dried herb flavours or coconut shrimp, drink this with that. (Source: www.winereviews.ca, May 2003). This wine won a Gold Medal at the 2002 Grand Concours des vins d'Alsace. 'Hertz Gewurz' was well received when we previously released the 1996 and 1998 vintages. Our panel's tasting note: Medium yellow straw colour with aromas of lychee and peach. Medium dry, ripe, fat and very full-bodied. Long, lush finish.
