" (Wines of the Week, www.jancisrobinson.com, Dec. 22, 2000) Our panel's tasting note: Black violet colour with aromas of gingerbread, plum skin and a touch of herbs. Dry, quite fleshy and approachable. Medium full-bodied with a lingering finish. Calls out for food. Food match: beef stew, steak off the grill, roast beef with Yorkshire pudding.
