Sutter Home California Chardonnay offers aromas of fresh pear, peach, apple, and lemon. The smooth, round texture, and rich, creamy, fruit flavors persist into a long, flavorful aftertaste. It makes an ideal match for seafood or poultry, veal or pork chops, cream sauce pastas, and both mild and flavorful cheeses. |

2001 | Chateuneuf du pape Les Galets Blonds | Red Wine | | €40 | 3 | 95 |
The brilliant 2003 Chateauneuf du Pape Les Galets Blonds is the star of these Chateauneufs. A blend of 92% Grenache and 8% Syrah was aged in foudre, tank, and small oak barrels (about 20%). Its dark ruby/plum/purple-tinged color is followed by a big, sweet nose of kirsch liqueur, herbes de Provence, and an oil of pepper-like character. Concentrated and full-bodied, with an old vine essence to its personality, this super Chateauneuf du Pape tips the scales at 16.5% alcohol. This is undeniably one of the stars of this irregular vintage. It should drink well for 12-15+ years. |

Bra till svamp, It is suggested that Teroldego is most enjoyable with no more than three years bottle age, while the fruit is still boisterous. However some, from Italy's best wineries, have been known to improve for up to ten years. |
taste is a complex rich mix of dry fruits, bilberries, chocolate, spices, mature tannin and a lovely acidity. Marco suggests rich game and old cheese! |

The wine has a deep black/red color and gushes with fresh fruit. It is silky soft and racy tart with lip-smacking sweet and tangy fruit, such as black cherries and plums. It's at its best when served slightly cool with braised meats, gutsy soups and stews and roasted root vegetables. |
